Team AB Sport Auto will return for a full season in V de V with two new entrants : two RS01

The GT/Touring car/LMP endurance championship welcomed Renault Sport’s new GT model – the famous RS01 – at the beginning of 2015, and since, has given us several great performances on several tracks around the world. Two cars are already signed up for this new season in V de V and these entries promise to provide many new challenges for its GT competitors, particularly in GTV1.

After running two Audis for several years in the GT Endurance Championship, team AB Sport will return in 2016, this time with two RS01, meaning they will also change categories and race in the GTV1 class. Last year, the French team finished second in the GTV2 standings, just behind the Mosler of Escuela Espanola de Pilotos. Despite the championship being extremely competitive, the team doesn’t want to put too much pressure on themselves. The most important factor for them, for now is to discover the new beast and begin the preparation work. Although AB Sport hope to achieve good results this year, their primary desire is to continue racing for pleasure.
