Full house is expected at Marco Simoncelli World Circuit in Misano for the opening of the season of the Blancpain GT Spring Series. 40 cars and two races of 60 minutes’ duration will give enough excitation to the GT’s fans.

The Portuguese driver Filipe Albuquerque runs at Misano, with Rodrigo Baptista with the # 3 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT car. Albuquerque will replace Sérgio Jimenez, the teammate of the Brazilian driver.

For Albuquerque this invitation is all about the trust that the team puts in his work: “It is always a pleasure to return to Blancpain with so many quality drivers, and to be on a winning team is always a plus. The Misano’s track is a kind of strange and at the same time complicated. it’s a track where it is very easy to cut the trajectories and with so many cars that will be difficult to control. I’m expecting what will happen in qualifying but the aim is to fight for victory in both races, “he said.
